Characteristics
The lightness of the minionda facade contributes to improving its technical and mechanical properties, even surpassing other similar materials or profiled sheets. Its waves have a height of 18 mm and expand throughout the entire metal surface, providing some resistance to possible adverse conditions (wind, rain, etc.).
The Minionda for siding is made of first-quality pre-coated and galvanized steel. The widths are standard, and you can choose between 836 and 1,064 mm. You can choose the steel thickness between 0.5 to 1.2 mm. Also, depending on the construction to be carried out, we offer several finishes of steel (galvanized, pre-coated, or zinc) that will promote better performance, and if your project has specific requirements, you can also choose from a wide variety of colors.
This Minionda sheet has been developed in recent years for all those projects related to commercial sectors and with high aesthetic levels: shopping centers, supermarkets, offices, warehouse cladding, and many more. At Panel Sandwich Group, we adapt to the old and the new times, constantly improving production processes to minimize costs without jeopardizing raw quality materials.
It should be noted, however, that the Minionda sheet does not have the same properties and qualities as sandwich panels. As it does not have an insulated core in-between, the thermal insulation and protection provided will be much lower. For this reason, the Minionda sheet is for all those projects in which a higher level of insulation and protection is not necessary, with a corresponding reduction in budget.
This fretwork sheet for siding or Minionda is easy to assemble, and if the installation is done properly, it will have a durable lifespan. Its technical and mechanical properties will be intact over time, all without the need for extra maintenance. Its characteristic makes the installation very agile and intuitive. The union between different metal plates is done by overlapping them, and at Panel Sandwich Group, we recommend two different ways of mounting it depending on the level of resistance you are looking for in your work: the overlap of a single wave between two sheets or the complete overlap of two waves so that the siding is as resistant as possible and thus avoid leaks. Once overlapped, they are screwed directly to any structure (metal, wood, concrete) with self-tapping screws and a series of accessories; to enhance resistance and protection.
Accessories and Endings
BUTYL ROLL
The butyl roll is the most recommended complement for the installation of the Sandwich Panel or simple sheet. It is an adhesive that is placed between joints and allows them to fit perfectly without the possibility of leaks. 50 year warranty!
