Description

The Fireproof Rockwool Panel for siding with an insulating rockwool core is the sandwich panel that offers high resistance to fire. Its interior is filled in natural Rockwool fibers perpendicular to the sheet, which increase its mechanical and fireproof resistance. Unlike the rest of the Sandwich Panels' standard solutions against fire, in this case, we do not find a rigid polyurethane foam core but rockwool mineral fiber arranged in compacted fibers to obtain fire-resistant. The Rockwool layer is protected in two galvanized steel plates, pre-lacquered and profiled for total protection and resistance.

In this way, the Fireproof Rockwool Panel for siding and walls can withstand exposure to fire for up to 240 minutes, certified by independent agencies, in the highest thicknesses. Therefore, we are facing the best Sandwich Panel with fire resistance, a quality highly demanded by professionals and individuals to protect their homes, premises, and businesses. We know that each client is unique, therefore we not only offer you a Fireproof Rock Wool Panel of a standard thickness, but you can choose from a wide variety of thicknesses of the rock wool core from 50 mm to even 200 mm for more demanding constructions that require specific classifications.

The certifications that are the essential element for the works where this type of fire-resistant rock wool panel is required and be prepared by an independent Institute, certifying entity, or a testing laboratory approved. Our Rock Wool Sandwich Panel for siding has a fire resistance of 30 minutes, 60 minutes, 120 minutes, and up to 240 minutes (EI30, EI60, EI120, EI180, and EI240),depending on the thickness chosen.

  • All finishing for the correct installation is available: inner corner, outer corner, U-shaped finish to lift the panels, and special screws according to the structure.
  • Simple tongue-and-groove joining system: with an anti-humidity and anti-leak system to increase its useful life.

Characteristics

When people start building their projects, the element of fires is the one thing they fear the most, and for this reason, Panel Sandwich Group has developed the Fireproof Rockwool Panel. It is manufactured: on two sheets of galvanized and pre-lacquered steel with an outline proven against shocks, impacts, and adverse conditions (rain, hail, and snow). Inside these two steel sheets have an insulating core of mineral fibers of Rockwool. A material that does not ignite easily and has inorganic content; makes it an incombustible panel facing possible fires.

Although it may seem that the Fireproof Rockwool Panel for sidings is very robust and heavy, the truth is that its structure and composition make it an extremely light product with exceptional levels of protection and insulation against fire and noise. In addition, we manage to adapt to your needs by thoroughly studying your project and preferences. We will recommend the thickness that best fits. The thicknesses available in 50, 80, 100, and 120 mm, guarantee 30, 60, and 120 minutes of fire resistance. On the other hand, higher thicknesses such as 150 and 200 mm, guarantee the resistance of 240 minutes without turning on.

The Fireproof Rockwool Sandwich Panel, for siding, has an easy assemble system which reduces installation time. The installation of the fire-resistant panel for siding begins by placing some rails or U-shaped guides on the ground to lift the panels one by one. Once the first panel; is placed on the rails, it is screwed to the structure and joined with the next, employing a tongue and groove system, fixing the appropriate screws between the surface and them. This way, it achieved a fully construction-protected resistance in case of possible fires, with an extra fundamental value: enough time to evacuate any room. Check with your sales advisor about the possibility of manufacturing exposed or hidden screws according to your required aesthetic level.

The fire behavior of the Fireproof Rockwool Panel for siding is classified as A S2 B0, equivalent to the previous M0 certificate, so it does not combust in contact with fire thanks to its rock wool core. These certifications have been carried out by independent institutes, following current Spanish regulations, meeting or exceeding the values set in the European framework.
