Description
It is a panel intended for internal cover or interior ceiling coating. The Insulated Plasterboard is the ideal material for the design of roofs and ceilings to be used for decorating purposes or finishing. It allows you to adjust to various types of projects, given the high versatility of the panel.
The Insulated Plasterboard consists of an outer waterproof chipboard with an insulating core of 16 or 19 mm thick and a bottom plate composed of plasterboard 10 or 13 mm thick. The three layers are firmly joined to achieve a block resistant to the forces and stress this type of cover is subjected.
The external waterproof chipboard is composed of wood shavings to which thermosetting resins are added to protect the core of the Insulated Plasterboard. It is well known for its resistant behavior in humid environments. In addition, to achieve a total waterproof roof, you can use waterproof accessories such as asphalt fabric or the plate under the tile, which ensures a better tightness of the construction.
The core varied of this material, and the client can choose from four different options, depending on the characteristics required by the project. The core variation options are composed of:
- The expanded polyurethane is a material that resists moisture and water, and it has a higher thermal insulator and a good insulator against noise. In addition, it is a very light material. Its density is 25 kg/m³.
- The extruded polyurethane has properties similar to expanded polyurethane, but it is a slightly heavier material. Thanks to its composition, it is an insulator capable of getting wet and not losing properties. Its density is about 35 kg/m³.
- The rock wool panel is formed by mineral fibers, and it has an insulator characterized by its low coefficient of thermal conductivity, making it a material with a perfect system that prevents the spread of fire. In addition, it has a higher acoustic insulator. Its density is 40 kg/m³.
- The cork core is a highly demanded material in bio construction if you´re seeking to integrate an eco-friendly material with the environment. Offers a density of 180/220 kg/m³.
The view board is a sheet of plasterboard of 10 or 13 mm. It is a constructive material with an excellent finish, ideal for applying any element type like paper, paint, or some other textures; once applied will provide a very particular and innovative aesthetic and image.
The sum of the individual characteristics of each element of the Plasterboard Sandwich Panel results in one of the best construction materials, with all these qualities, together with the excellent price, make it a compelling alternative for specific projects.
To offer in each case the best quality and price, Panel Sandwich Group manufactures these roofing covers in different thicknesses from 30 to 200 mm, although the most demanded by our customers are Insulated Plasterboard with thicknesses of 40, 60, 80, and 100 mm for their excellent performance thus adjusting the level of protection and thermal insulation necessary in each case.
You can also adjust the dimensions of the outer planks by playing with the core's different thicknesses, depending on structure surface needs and possible future applications when installing. Different sizes of interior thickness can be selected to ensure optimal functionality. In any case, we recommend consulting our sales advisers for the availability of each of these combinations and thus enjoy the best sandwich panel at a low price per m².
The Insulated Plasterboard is widely used in homes, establishments, offices, shopping centers, and public buildings of all kinds, thanks in large part, to its incredible installation system that speeds up processes. Thanks to the joining system that each sandwich sheet has on its sides, it allows a quick and easy installation. This treatment at the ends of the panel guarantees a smooth surface with spectacular aesthetics at the best U.S.market price.
In addition, the Insulated Plasterboard Panel, or Insulated Sheetrock, is a cleaner construction system. Being a dry construction method, it avoids the accumulation of dust and particles that others materials accumulate such as cement or plaster.

Characteristics
The installation of the Insulated Plasterboard is as simple as the rest of the wood panels we manufacture and we sell in Panel Sandwich Group. For the correct union between sandwich plates, all our wood sandwich panels have a tongue and groove system on the sides to fit perfectly between them. This assembly system makes it possible to speed up assembly processes and reduce construction costs.
To install the Plasterboard Sandwich Panel or Insulated Sheetrock to any structure type, Panel Sandwich Group can provide you in each order the own self-drilling screws. In addition, you can request finishes to improve the aesthetics of the project, for example, we have asphalt menbranes or plates that are placed under the tiles to improve the waterproof characteristics of the installation creating a watertight space and avoiding thermal filtration and water leaks.
We offer all kinds of accessories to increase the Insulated Plasterboard performance, ensuring higher protection even in the weakest points, accessories such as screws and gaskets. In addition, the use of the right finishes not only extends the life of the panel but also allows it to keep its technical characteristics intact over the years.
The triple composition of the plasterboard offers incomparable characteristics. Thanks to the core of the Plasterboard Sandwich Panel, avoid thermal leaks and obtain higher protection. In addition, it is a resistant material since it supports the weight of ceramic tiles installed on it.
Do not hesitate to contact our commercial team, which are experts and they can inform you about the type of sandwich panel for a low price per m² best suits your project, always at the best price guaranteed. In Panel Sandwich Group, in recent years, we have experienced an increasing demand thanks to the benefits and advantages provided by wood panels and sandwich veneers at a reduced price per m²compared to other construction systems.
Thanks to our vast experience, we have participated in many projects with different clients, who, little by little, have been recommending our low-price insulated wood ceilings to become one of the leaders in the sector.
We manufacture high-quality wood sandwich panels for all corners of the world. Thanks to the strategic location of our facilities, we have access to the main international ports to make safe and fast sea shipments. 100% GUARANTEED QUALITY
The importance having official quality certificates for each product has become necessary to demonstrate to customers that the sandwich panel complies with current regulations. For this reason, it is important that at the time of purchasing any sandwich panel request these documents in the establishment.
Unfortunately, some manufacturers do not comply with this practice since they launch second-hand sandwich panel offers at the lowest average price. Many customers are not aware of the serious dangers of buying second-hand sandwich panels. Their prices may seem attractive, but they may not comply with current regulations or may have some damage that affects the technical characteristics of the panel.
In Panel Sandwich Group, we have all the official certificates that ensure the quality of our sandwich panels. If you are looking for a sandwich panel with another interior finish? We also offer Herakustik, Cement Board Panels, Waterproof Agglomerate,Wood Sandwich Panel or Isulated OSB; of the best quality and with excellent features.
